Summer Reading Club is Back – Become a Volunteer!

Summer-Reading-Club

Now that summer is coming up, school will be out for the next few months and you’ll have plenty of free time to chill. If you find yourself moping around the house with nothing to do, the Niles Library has just the thing to cure summertime boredom: Become a Summer Reading Club volunteer!

Any students entering grades 7 through 12 for Fall 2015 are encouraged to become a volunteer. Why spend a few hours each week helping out at the Library this summer? You get to have fun while helping little kids, and you can also earn service hours while gaining great experience.

In order to become a volunteer, you will have to attend our Summer Reading Club Volunteer Orientation. There are three different orientations available, of which you only have to attend one. Join us on Saturday, May 30 at 10:30 am, Wednesday, June 3 at 7 pm, OR Thursday, July 2 and 7 pm to learn about this year’s Summer Reading Club theme and general guidelines of volunteering. To register for the orientation, click here.

Make this summer fun and worthwhile with the Niles Public Library!
