In Memory of Roger Moore: 1927-2017

Known mostly for playing James Bond for the longest string of consecutive films…seven in total…Moore was more than just the super spy 007.  Made famous for the television hit The Saint (1962-1969), he also starred in TVs The Persuaders with Tony Curtis, both pre-James Bond.  But, even though The Saint made him a success, that was nothing compared to the worldwide fame Moore received in 1973, the year of his first Bond outing, Live and Let Die.  He played James Bond for 12 years, ending with 1985’s A View to a Kill when he was 58.
