When I think of the word Thanksgiving, the first thing that comes to mind is FOOD. With food comes family, friends, football, and a day to be grateful for all life has to offer.
The fourth Thursday in November is also a time to welcome loved ones, yes even that weird uncle who wears sweater vests, into your home or gather together in someone else’s. Why not up your entertaining and hosting duties with a couple crafts to create a unique touch to your Thanksgiving Day.
The Niles-Maine District Library has an online resource called Creative Bug, which includes more than 1,000 arts and crafts video tutorials taught by recognized design experts and artists. Creative Bug also gives you a list of what materials are needed for each project.
