Starting today, the carpeting in the public area of the 3rd floor begins. The brown wall that has been up since January will come down in the next couple of days.
Next, the shelving with the Literacy and World Languages collections will be moved and that area will have the old carpet removed and prepared for the new carpet.
In the meantime, the old “hockey puck” lights over the Non-Fiction collection were removed and the new lights installed (pictured above).
Also, painting will take place throughout the 3rd floor.
