Hey music makers! The deadline for our Virtual Battle of the Bands has been extended to August 15th! That means you have until Saturday, August 15 to send us a link to your band’s music video!Make a video of your band playing any 1 song & post it on online. Then, send a link to dblock@nileslibrary.org or mmiller@nileslibrary.org .
Please include your band name, band members’ names and ages, address, and phone number with your entry. Local teens and librarians will vote for their favorite.
The winning band will get $100 and perform at the library in the fall. Attend the video screening on Aug. 20 to vote for your favorite and show support for your band.
Band members must be between the ages 12-21 as of Aug. 15, 2009. Only bands from Illinois are eligible to win.
